Rio de Janeiro in one day, without spending

Official sources checked Oct 5, 2026

A Monday, so the day ends at the Pedra do Sal samba. Everything is in the city center and walkable in daylight; the only fares are the metro in and an app car home. The only money you need is for transit and food.

Worth it? Yes.Sunday is the day, when the road becomes a promenade full of bikes and skaters. Do not swim, the bay water is rarely clean. Leave before dark, since the park is big, poorly lit and has a bad record at night.
