Free museums in Berlin, and when

Official sources checked Oct 5, 2026

There is no free museum day in Berlin any more. Museum Sunday, the free first Sunday of the month, was last held on 1 December 2024, and the programme's own calendar lists no further dates. What remains is better than a free day: the memorial museums and federal history museums are free every day they open, and so are the Jewish Museum's core exhibition and the Futurium. Museum Island and the other state art museums charge.
