March to May is the clearest stretch before the fog season. Days run 15 to 18°C with strong afternoon wind on the bridge, whose sidewalk goes back to 9 pm closing in early March. The Botanical Garden magnolias finish in March, the Tea Garden cherries follow into April, and the free Sunday band concerts in Golden Gate Park start up again.
